The 71st Miss Universe competition will take place in New Orleans on Saturday night, attracting dozens of pageant winners from around the world.
According to the Miss Universe website, 84 contestants will gather on Saturday at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
The 11 a.m. dress rehearsal and the 7 p.m. competition are both sold out, which is unfortunate for fans trying to book a last-minute travel to Louisiana.
In a statement posted to the Miss Universe website, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell expressed her "pride" at being the pageant's host.
