Sami Zayn becomes a hero and receives a positive response from the public as Roman Reigns defends the WWE Titles at the Royal Rumble.

During the fight, he repeatedly threw an Owens spear, including through a barricade, and landed several Superman punches.

In order to keep his belts, Reigns would pin Owens and make the three count, but the losing streak persisted.

To celebrate Reigns' successful title defence, Jimmy, Ji Uso, and Solo Sekowa appeared on the scene.

The Usos repeatedly superkicked Owens, and Reigns then struck Owens with a chair. Reigns was urged by Zayn not to.

Zayn was given the chance by Reigns to prove himself worthy of membership in The Bloodline.
