March Madness 2023: President Obama and Joseph Biden share their brackets
By completing their March Madness brackets for 2023, U.S. President Joseph Biden and former President Barack Obama got into the college basketball spirit.
Biden, a graduate of Delaware and Syracuse, doesn't have a team competing this year, but he still has a stake in the outcome because of the first lady, Dr. Jill Biden.
It is not surprising that Obama shares his brackets because it is consistent with a tradition the well-known college basketball aficionado started in 2009.
Obama predicting Duke to win the championship in the men's competition? That comes as a bit of a surprise.
The fifth-seeded Duke team is the lowest-ranked team Obama has ever predicted to win the championship.
