Grammys 2023: Viola Davis wins a Grammy, earning her EGOT status.

The actress' memoir, "Finding Me," won for best audiobook narration and storytelling recording.

Following in the footsteps of Andrew Lloyd Webber, John Legend, Mike Nichols, Mel Brooks, Jennifer Hudson, Whoopi Goldberg, and others, Davis is now the 18th member of the EGOT club.

The victory follows her Tony Award for her role in "King Hedley" in 2001 and her 2015 Emmy award for the series "How to Get Away With Murder."

"Fences" in 2010, as well as "Fences" winning an Oscar in 2017. Now that she has achieved EGOT status, Davis is the third Black woman.

In her award speech, Davis said, "I wrote this book to honour the 6-year-old Viola — to honour her life, her joy, her trauma, and her everything."
