The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 2023 nominee list features an astounding 14 nominees, including Kate Bush!

The list includes everyone from Kate Bush, who has already been nominated three times but still has a perfect chance of being included this time

Dolly Parton, a late 1990s legend, is competing against Missy Eillott and the White Stripes for the award in their first year of eligibility.

Iron Maiden, Missy Elliott, Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Joy Division/New Order, and the entire list of artists chosen by Hall's nomination committee as 2023 possibilities are included.

Eight out of the 14 nominees, or a tiny majority, are appearing on a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ballot for the first time, according to Variety.

With her oldie "Running Up That Hill," Kate Bush, who was previously chosen in 2018, 2021, and 2022 but didn't make the cut, appears to have the momentum now.

Before this year, the soul group The Spinners was nominated three times, but it has been seven years since they last received a nod. 2012, 2015, and 2016 saw the ensemble receive nominations.
